The best pub in Llantwit Major a real hub of the community where everyone is always welcome. All the staff are always so friendly and so kind. Nick & Stacey leads a fantastic team. Thursday nights karaoke is a fabulous night out not to be missed.
Lovely local in heart of Llantwit major, very warm welcome on arrival, we used the garden which was lovely, service was great as we used order and pay for our drinks.staff were lovely especially Jonnie who was very easy on the eye. Will definitely use again.
Great place for food and a few drinks. Came in years ago with my two young sons to play pool and came back many times over the years. I haven't been in for some time, thankfully it hasn't changed much great traditional style British/Welsh pub.
Fabulous community local, superb Sunday lunch , staff were very welcoming , very competitive price wise, also the silver fox was very easy on the eye.
What a gem of a pub with great ales. The staff were all friendly, in particular Nick. Asked how our day was and noticed when we were leaving and said goodbye. Felt like the staff were genuinely happy in their place of work. I will definitely be returning!

One of the roasts was lamb, served with crispy roasties, rich gravy, seasonal veg, and a classic Yorkshire pudding. Dessert was a comforting plum crumble with warm custard, rounding off a meal full of flavour and warmth. ⭐ 5/5 – Highly recommended for a proper Sunday roast.
Fantastic community pub in the heart of llantwit major, great welcome by front of house staff, the landlord Nick was exceptionally obliging . Lovely beer garden, great beers and a fabulous Sunday lunch.. Will most certainly visit again. Many thanks to Nick and all the team.
By far the best pub in Llantwit. Free jukebox. Excellent Sunday lunches. Pool table, Karaoke every Thursday and live bands on certain Saturday nights.Great locals and brilliant staff. Cannot recommend this establishment enough.
Really lovely roast, huge portion and tasty crumble to finish!
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 8/10 – Great mains, chips a minor let‑down Had dinner at The King’s Head in Llantwit Major and the mains were absolutely spot on. The Thai green chicken curry was fragrant, creamy, and properly comforting, while the pulled Moroccan lamb was tender and full of rich spice — both dishes really well done. Stacey, our waitress, deserves a shout‑out too. She was attentive, available whenever we needed her, and really added to the overall experience with her friendly manner. The only disappointment was the side of chips, which were a bit greasy and not quite up to the standard of the rest of the meal. Nothing tragic, just not their finest moment. Overall though, a very enjoyable evening and a solid 8 out of 10
